Jurassic parks science is likely the most possible thing in the list. True we cannot revvie dinosaurs with petrified dna but many animals living on earth are ancestors of many various dinosaurs & through retro breeding and implanting ancestral embryos into a surrogate egg its possible to get a dinosaur. For example Ostritches have many traits similar to raptors all we gotta do is find that part of the genome and retroactively influence it while also finding a way to inseminate it and make sure it hatches.

I can understand why this video was made, in a funny way. The thing is that if you watch a movie to learn actual science then you probably should have paid more attention in school. Movies to me are all about fantasy and escaping reality for two hours. If you really want to make a list like this in seriousness then list the top 10 documentaries that have bogus science and keep an UNBIASED opinion. I doubt this is something WatchMojo would do though, especially the unbiased part lol.

Most of this I agree with, save 1. In the Transformers scene, observe, Prime lowers his hand slowly and matches Sam's velocity, therefore, catching him like a net rather than a steel slab. Ergo, making this one completely legit, as opposed to the Superman scene in which he met her moving in an opposite direction, which indeed, would have potentially ripped her in half.

Armageddon - The Oilrigscene where oil is gushing out on the deck. 2 things is wrong in that scene. #1 A drilling crew would never spil oil like that, you don't want uncontrolled spills on your rig. #2 For each kilometer you drill into the Earth, the temprature rises with 30 degress Celsius. So if they struk oil at 1 km, the oil would be 30 degress hot. Fair enough that you can dance around in it. If the oil is struck at 2 km down, it wolud be 60 degress hot. Everyone would be burned

The Core was so bad and every respect. They are travelling in a rod-shaped ship straight down, yet they can walk up and down the length of the ship with ease. It doesn't take a genius to realize that that wouldn't work. Then they didn't bring extra bombs in case the amount they brought with them wasn't enough.

Sorry, WM but you dropped the ball again. If I wanted to watch a movie for its scientific accuracy, I'd watch a documentary. Humans watch movies to escape reality. So what, landing on an asteroid is virtually impossible. Superman can't reverse time. Creating sexy as mother fucking fuck, Kelly Lebrock using a computer, a modem & bras on your head is ridiculous. Big fucking deal. I watch a movie because it's entertaining and because Kelly Lebrock in the late '80's is awesome.

Duuude. some aren't worth a spot on this list on account of being pure fiction, or not claiming to be scientifically believable at all. Like, WTF is sharknado doing here, who is dumb enough to believe there is ANY science behind it. Like Weird science. Also there is another part of the genre name, the FICTION part. I thought at first this list would include flics that claim the fiction isn't the bigger part of the movie. Like gravity, or The martian. In that case you missed the star wars series and Star Trek. to begin with.

Odd video. Everyone knows there's no sound in space and you'd float but whatever. Fiction in science fiction is fine as long as they aren't completely stupid. Unless they are intentionally stupid for fun. Easy explanations that are missing from movies are what bug me. The matrix should have used humans for brains not batteries. The walls on Jurassic park should have been escape proof but a landslide or fallen tree thwarted the design. It's when they come up with oh brother moments and just assume people are stupid that ruin fiction in a movie. Fiction isn't the bad guy in bad movies. It's bad movies that are the issue

i use like 40% to 50% of my brain at work =) according to mythbusters where Tory used per total 35% and i'm a bit smarter than him :P :D so Lucy, go home, ur drunk!
According to science, any part of our body that we don't use will atrofiate and eventually disappear. So if we use less than 100% of our brain it will attrofiate. The less we use of it the more it dissapears. It also has a limitation in use to not overheat and get tired very fast. If we use 100% we last only few minutes then we have to go to sleep.
The thing with percentage of use, at 100% we cannot do what Lucy does, we only think faster, way faster, that's all. Like a math problem that normally we do in 1 hour at 50% utilization of brain, at 100% we do it in 30 minutes or less. Simple. Is like cpu mhz frequency, right?
I think it is very possible in future to use 100% of brain if we install a cooling system in our head to cooldown the brain. Maybe we can then overclock it.
What i found out the less % we use of our brain the more we can last without sleep!!! This is a fact.
